Fashion Luggage

Fashion Forward Jansport Luggage
By Maxine Greco

Girls just want to have fun! Where have you heard that before? Well, they definitely want to have fun while traveling. JanSport has introduced the newest color for their Superbreak collection of luggage. It is called chocolate chip daiquiri squares. You just know this is going to be fun to travel with, and it will appeal to girls from six to sixty. These cases not only showcase your style with fashion forward good looks, but they are durable and built to last. They offer the latest features and these cases are genuinely lightweight. That's not only important when trying to avoid airline surcharges, but it makes it easy to wheel and carry by yourself. Many of the airlines are charging for overweight baggage. Usually the weight limit is fifty pounds per piece, but you need to check with the individual airline you are flying to be sure. The 24" Pullman case from JanSport is 6500 cubic inches when expanded and weighs less than nine pounds!

Although the luggage is lightweight, it is still built to travel. There are corner mounted incline skate wheels to wheel over any type of surface you encounter while traveling. The Pullmans also have corner guards for added protection. The material is 600-denier polyester. The locking, retractable handle has an ergonomic grip for ease in pushing or pulling through busy airport and train terminals. There's a side handle and bottom grip, as well as a top handle. You can grab the case easily no matter which direction it comes down the airport carousel. There's an add-a-bag strap allowing you to piggyback two or more pieces and wheel everything with one hand. This sure makes traveling easy!

American Airlines recently announced that they are charging extra for any baggage you send through, making carry on luggage more popular than ever. The JanSport carry on luggage is a full 3900 cubic inches when expanded and it weighs only 7 lbs. 12 oz. There are two front pockets and a water bottle pocket on the side. Remember to buy your water after you've gone through security. Any cosmetics you'd like to carry on that are liquid or gel need to be placed in a clear plastic one-quart sized bag. They also must be placed in containers or bottles of three ounces or less.

The travel tote bag is made to slide over the pull up handle of the Pullman for ease in traveling. The tote can be carried on as your personal bag. You may carry on one 22" piece of carry on luggage and one personal bag. You are limited to these two pieces, and you cannot add a briefcase or handbag making three pieces. If you wish to take a different personal bag you'll need to eliminate the tote bag. Be sure to check before as the regulations and the rules may be different for your airline, or they may have changed. Put all of your valuable travel items inside the personal bag. It will hold jewelry, medications, eyeglasses, etc. There's also an outside pocket for your boarding pass, photo identification, and passport when necessary. Inside, it will hold a snack and a good book to read. Now you're ready to travel and have fun at the same time!
